Terms of service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms form an agreement between Wisty Labs AS, org. nr. 938 423 490, Elisenbergveien 34, 0263 Oslo, Norway ("Wisty", "we") and you, the person using Wisty UI. By using the service, you accept them.
Wisty UI is offered to individuals, including people using it in their work. If you use it as a consumer, nothing in these terms removes rights that the law of the country where you live gives you and does not let you waive.
The service
Wisty UI is a component registry for shadcn/ui, styled after Salesforce Lightning Design System 2. It has three parts: the website and its documentation, a registry that the shadcn CLI installs components from, and an MCP server that lets a coding agent search the registry, read its documentation and install components on your behalf.
Wisty UI is an independent product. It is not made, sponsored or endorsed by Salesforce, Inc. Your use of Salesforce is governed by your agreement with Salesforce.
Coding agents and the MCP server
An agent such as Claude Code or Cursor uses the MCP server anonymously. We may block an agent that is abusing the service.
The agent acts for you. Components it installs, code it writes and requests it makes count as yours under these terms. An agent may keep copies of what it fetched; that is between you and the agent's provider.
Licenses for what you install
Free components, blocks and templates are open source under the MIT License, with third-party material under its own terms, all listed on the license page. Those licenses, not these terms, govern the code once it is in your project.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights. Do not attack, probe or overload the website, the registry or the MCP server, or bypass access controls or rate limits. Do not scrape the registry to republish it as a competing registry or kit; installing and using the components under their licenses is what it is for, and the MIT license already lets you fork the free items.
Availability and changes to the service
We do not promise uptime. We may add, change or remove components, documentation and features. We give reasonable notice before removing something material from the registry, and we may act immediately to address a security or legal risk. Components you have already installed are unaffected by changes to the registry.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time. Code you installed stays yours to use under its license.
We may block a person or an agent from the service to investigate a breach of these terms or a security risk, or for a material breach, immediately where needed to protect the service or other people.
Warranties and liability
The service and the registry are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that they are error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Code you install comes under its own license, which has its own warranty terms.
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising from the service and these terms is limited to NOK 1,000. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury, or any liability the law does not let us limit, including a consumer's statutory remedies.
Changes to these terms
We post changes to these terms on this page with a new date at the top, which identifies the current version. A material change takes effect 30 days after that date. If you do not accept it, stop using the service before then. Using the service after it takes effect is acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are brought before the courts of Oslo, Norway. If you are a consumer, you may instead bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and the mandatory consumer law of that country applies to you regardless of this choice. Consumers in Norway may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for mediation.
General
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, the license page and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Wisty UI.
